About Us

For 20 years, Project Access Northwest has been removing barriers to health care for low-income, uninsured, and underinsured individuals and families across Washington state. Through a network of 2,500 volunteer health care providers and partnerships with leading health systems, community organizations, and funders, we connect people to the care and resources they need to live healthier lives.

Today, our programs reach communities across Washington through specialty care coordination, dental care navigation, behavioral health services, community resource connections, and premium assistance. We help individuals access specialty medical care that might otherwise be out of reach, connect individuals with volunteer dental and mental health providers, navigate complex health and social service systems, and provide financial assistance to help eligible Washington residents maintain health insurance coverage.

From connecting a client with a specialist to helping a family find a dentist, accessing mental health support, or keeping health insurance within reach, Project Access Northwest is committed to ensuring that where you live, what you earn, or the barriers you face do not determine whether you can access the care you need.
